Job Description
Balcon Enterprises, Inc. is one of the largest providers of new and used Gaylord Boxes and Bulk Bags throughout the US. This role bridges financial analysis, planning, budgeting and reporting with some experience in operations. The person we are looking for needs a strong Business Accounting background.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform daily accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger maintenance, and month-end activities.
• Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure legal compliance, maximize profitability and guide strategic growth.
• Prepare financial dashboards and reports and make recommendations that support decision-making.
• Develop and maintain operating budgets. Work with leaders to align financial objectives with business goals.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience as an Accounting Manager or experience in managing accounting functions.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Balcon Enterprises, Inc. uses NetSuite.
• Knowledge of budget preparation and analysis techniques.

This role supports the company’s financial operations by combining day-to-day bookkeeping with accounting analysis, budgeting support, and accurate reporting in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Record and reconcile financial transactions, including income, expenses, purchases, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activity.
• Maintain accurate accounting records using spreadsheets and accounting software, including NetSuite.
• Review ledgers and support documentation for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and correct errors promptly.
• Support month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and routine financial calculations.

JOB
• Monday-Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm
• $18-22/hour to start negotiable based on experience
• NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS, or major HOLIDAYS

DUTIES
• Move 53' trailers & back into docks with spotter truck. Yard jockey certification or Class A CDL required.
• Perform light maintenance on 53' trailers and semi-trucks.
• Conduct daily maintenance checks around the warehouse and on our equipment. Perform or arrange repairs as needed.
• Communicate & coordinate everything with the warehouse manager.
REQUIREMENTS
• Yard jockey certification OR Class A CDL required
• Forklift certification a plus
• Bobcat experience very helpful
• Use of basic mechanic’s hand tools, power tools
• Ability to do light maintenance on trucks, trailers, and warehouse equipment
• Must be self-directed with ability to plan work, manage multiple tasks, and think ahead to maximize efficient coordination of work.
• Attendance is a priority. Employees are counted on to be dependable and schedule time off in advance whenever possible.
